
What is Biohacking?
So glad you asked! It's simple to start really, even though it's been a bit more male driven since its inception - plenty of people (maybe even you without knowing the term1) have been experimenting with protocols to create and optimize their well-being . Since the dawn of time, people have worked to discover the best ways to stay healthy and live longer. Dave Asprey, Founder and CEO of Bulletproof, and godfather of pushing the edges to create optimal living, coined the term ‘biohacking’, which was added to the dictionary in 2018. His definition:
“The art and science of changing the environment around you and inside you, so you have full control over your own biology.”
I think of it as that place where intuition, science, self-experimentation, research, biology, technology, nutrition, environment, mindset and wellness intersect so you can build the most effective and efficient ways to be stronger, healthier and ultimately…happier.
And, specifically for women, it has important differences. Part of why I am here as a nutrition, fitness and biohacking coach for females is to take all the years I learned from the best mentors in health and fitness, coupled with research and practical application of techniques that worked for me and hundreds of clients - and share them with you!
